Curious Theatre Company presents Tarell Alvin McCraney's The Brother/Sister Plays, a trilogy set deep in the Louisiana Bayou that follows one close-knit community across generations as they come of age through trials of heartache, love and kinship. The groundbreaking saga commences with T h e Red and Brown Water March 7 - April 18, 2015 at 1080 Acoma Street, Denver. The opening night is March 7, 2015, at 8 p.m.

Inspired by playwright Tarell McCraney's interest in Yoruban mythology and his own childhood growing up in the inner city housing projects of Miami, The Brother/Sister Plays is a trilogy of lyrical and imaginative works set in the Bayou. These three plays, set in the "distant present", follow a dynamic cast of characters as they come of age through trials of heartache, love and kinship. The first installment, In the Red and Brown Water, and the second chapter, The Brothers Size, are playing in the 2014/15 Season. The saga concludes in the 2015/16 Season with Marcus; or the Secret of Sweet.
