It is 1599 and opening night at the Globe Playhouse, but while the actors strut and fret, an excess of bile plagues the populace outside. As the affliction transforms London's citizens into undead monsters, the Globe is placed on lock-down and the survivors within must fight for their lives. Can they escape? Is there a cure? Is a play ever worth dying for? William Shakespeare's Land of the Dead by John Heimbuch is a perfect mash up of contemporary horror and Elizabethan history. See it all unfold on August 16 in the Ruth Theatre. Tickets can be purchased at 719.658.2540 or online at www.creederep.org.
