Bovine's 40th original sketch comedy revue, North by North Pole (NXNP), uses improv to vet, revise and enhance each holiday sketch and musical number with one goal: make you laugh till your belly shakes like a bowl full of jelly. It's a tall order, however just like Santa, the Bovine will not disappoint.
Running the holiday gamut, NXNP showcases reindeer centric comedy, menorahs and holiday dinners gone awry. The season creates bonds and brings families closer together (or sometimes drive them apart in ridiculous ways). "We are interested in people and the relationships of families, and how winter time and holidays affect our society in funny ways," says writer and performer, Katya Bond . "It's something everyone can relate to."
Ho, ho, ho your way to performances of North by North Pole on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. from November 27 - December 19, 2015. With three encore performances at 8 p.m. on Monday, December 21, Tuesday, December 22, and Wednesday, December 23. Tickets are $22 at the door and $20 online. This is an all ages show.
