The Candlelight Dinner Playhouse will be holding auditions for ANNIE WARBUCKS on Monday, May 9th from 12pm to 7pm for adults and Tuesday, May 10th from 6pm to 9 pm for the roles of Annie, CJ, and the orphans (ages 6-15) at the Candlelight Dinner Playhouse. Auditions are by appointment only and can be made by calling the Box Office at 970-744-3747 beginning April 26.. Callbacks will be held at 6:00pm, Sunday May 15th. Experienced singers, dancers and actors are needed. Actors of all ethnicities are encouraged to audition. All roles are open. All roles are non-equity. All roles are paid.
Actors should bring headshot and resume and prepare 16-32 bars of a musical theater song appropriate to the show. You may be asked to sing more than one song. An accompanist will be provided. Please bring sheet music in the appropriate key. No acapella or recorded music. Rehearsals will begin approximately August 3rd. Annie Warbucks will open August 27th and run thru November 13, 2011. Performances are Thurs. thru Sat. nights and Sunday matinees. Performances may be added. This production will be directed by Timothy Kennedy and choreographed by Brian Burron.
The Candlelight Dinner Playhouse is Colorado's newest and largest professional dinner theater. It is a multimillion dollar facility dedicated to using Colorado's finest talent.
ANNIE WARBUCKS- Based on Little Orphan Annie
The show begins immediately after Annie ended: Christmas morning, 1933.

Annie - about 11 - Mezzo: A spunky orphan who has recently been adopted by Daddy Warbucks
Oliver Warbucks - Baritone - 40-55: warm-hearted, stiff-collared millionaire who adopts Annie
Grace Farrell - Soprano - 20-35: Warbucks' faithful assistant who has developed a strong caring for him and Annie
Harriet Doyle - Mezzo - 40-60: Scheming Commissioner of the New York City Department of Child Welfare
Mrs. Kelly - Mezzo - 25-40: Harriet Doyle's scheming daughter
Drake - Bari-tenor - 30-55: Warbucks' English Butler and faithful servant
Alvin Patterson - Baritone - 30-50: Poor Tennessee sharecropper
Ella Patterson - Mezzo or Soprano - 30-50: Poor Tennessee sharecropper's wife
C.J. Patterson - 8-16 Mezzo or Soprano: Poor Tennessee sharecropper's daughter
Miss Clark - 30-50: In charge of the orphanage
Franklin Roosevelt - Baritone - about 51: The President
