In the vein of the unauthorized stories of Saved by the Bell, Mork & Mindy, and Three's Company, Buntport Theater brings you the behind-the-scenes tribulations (and the in-front-of-the-scenes silliness) of a completely made-up sit-com!

On "the screen" Sure Lock Homes followed the owner of Sure Lock Homes Painting (and Plumbing) and his sidekick Watt's son, Lucas. Audiences tuned in every week to watch the hilarity as these two housepainters went to work, constantly reminded that their punny business name is more suited for a locksmith or home security company. America wore t-shirts of the catch phrases and laughed over the water cooler at the weekly shenanigans, but did not know what was happening when the directors yelled "cut"...until now. What terrible truths will be revealed in the three-part mini-series THE UNAUTHORIZED STORY OF A FICTIONAL TELEVISION SHOW? The answer to that question and more are hitting the stage on the Third Tuesday of October, November, and December!

Buntport is busy writing this three-part series and is poised to book guest stars in the form of some of Denver's favorite actors and comedians. This is not-to-be-missed off-night entertainment!

Buntport Theater Company has been creating unusual off-night entertainment since its inaugural season in Denver 14 years ago. This 3-month long live mini-series is an exciting call-back to their days of making sit-coms for the stage. For eight seasons they created live sit-com episodes (Magnets on the Fridge and Starship Troy) every other week. Currently, they produce off-beat entertainment on the Third Tuesday of every month. THE UNAUTHORIZED STORY OF A FICTIONAL TELEVISION SHOW temporarily takes the spot of programs such as The Great Debate, Buntport Versus, and Teacher's Pet.

THE UNAUTHORIZED STORY OF A FICTIONAL TELEVISION SHOW is part of Buntport's 14th season in Denver. Also included in the season are two brand-new original full-length plays (including Naughty Bits, which is currently playing), a remount of Tommy Lee Jones Goes to Opera Alone, Joan & Charlie (performed every month in the third floor freight elevator of the Denver Art Museum), other Third Tuesday events (like the Great

Debate), and several one-off events and collaborations. In addition, the Buntport Education Team creates and produces a new family-friendly show every month and tours original productions to area schools.

THE UNAUTHORIZED STORY OF A FICTIONAL TELEVISION SHOW

plays in three parts:

October 21, November 18, December 16 at 8:00

Only one performance of each part!

But, don't worry: while you'll want to see all three, Buntport will make sure they stand on their own if you miss one!
