Feature: THE BOOK OF MORMON Is Still Just As Funny As You Remember Image It's hard to believe The Book of Mormon is already on making its 4th return to Denver. Since premiering its tour in Denver in 2012, the mega-hit returned in 2013 and 2015, yet it's still one of the hottest tickets.

And are we really surprised?

After seeing the show for the first time in years, it still felt so fresh. Every number is a showstopper. The jokes are raw and relevant. Even though it pokes fun of the Mormon religion, you still root for the main characters and their beliefs and care for their sincerity. It finds a beautiful line between filthy and sweet.

The Book of Mormon features book, music and lyrics by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone. Parker and Stone are the four-time Emmy Award-winning creators of the landmark animated series, "South Park." Tony Award-winner Lopez is co-creator of the long-running hit musical comedy, Avenue Q. The musical is choreographed by Tony Award-winner Casey Nicholaw and is directed by Nicholaw and Parker.
