The Arvada Center Artistic Producer and show Director, Rod A. Lansberry has announced the cast for The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde. The show marks Lansberry's directing debut in the Center's Black Box Theater. The Importance of Being Earnest will run January 24 – February 19, 2012. The cast includes: Scott Bellot (John "Jack" Worthing); Jake Walker (Algernon Moncrieff); Kate Berry (Gwendolen Fairfax); Caitlin Wise (Cecily Cardew); Bev Newcomb (Lady Bracknell); Billie McBride (Miss Prism); Colin Alexander (Rev. Canon Chasuble); Mark Rubald (Lane); Jeremy Sortore (Merriman) and Jamie Ann Romero (Maid).
In addition to director Rod Lansberry, the creative team includes Brian Mallgrave (scenic design), Sally Burke (costume design), Vance McKenzie (lighting design), Steve Stevens (sound design) and Meghan Markiewicz (props mistress).
