A fun variety of summer entertainment continues at Lannie's Clocktower Cabaret in August as Lannie Garrett finishes up her run of her popular show, "Great Women of Song - from Billie to Bette" - on Saturdays, September 3rd and 10th at 8pm and national burlesque star, Jo Weldon, presents her lecture on the history of leopard print followed by a burlesque revue on Sunday, September 4th at 7pm.

Wednesday, August 3rd at 8pm: MY TEENAGE ANGST - Real People, Real Journals, Real Funny!

Hosted by Megan Nyce

Brave souls take the stage and read their real life journal entries from their tweens to twenties for our entertainment. This open mic style show allows readers and Audience members to walk down memory lane together, laughing along the way.

Friday, August 5th at 8pm- BELLA DIVA DANCE SHOW - ROAD TO RIO!

Bedazzled with sequins and dripping with feathers, this dance troupe continues to mesmerize audiences as they shake their hips in the finest Samba tradition. You'll need to fasten your seat belt for this special Friday night show as the Bella Diva dancers transport you to Brazil during their "Road to Rio" celebrating the opening ceremonies of
the Summer 2016 Olympics! Enjoy world dance performances, traditional Caipirinha cocktails, team games and Olympic trivia!

Saturdays, August 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th at 8pm - Lannie Garrett SINGS GREAT WOMEN OF SONG FROM BILLIE TO BETTE
Lannie Garrett has returned to the stage with one of her most popular shows! You'll enjoy her tribute to many of the famous female vocalists of the 20th century including: Billie Holiday, Bette Midler, Judy Garland, Peggy Lee, Dusty Springfield, Janis Joplin, Bonnie Raitt, Nina Simone and many more. She is be accompanied by her band, The Errand Boys of Rhythm Quintet.

Wednesday, August 10th at 7:30pm- RETRO VOCAL GROUPS: Denver Dolls, Vintage Trio and In Tandem
The Denver Dolls is a trio of sassy, female vocalists singing in the style of the beloved female groups of the '30s, '40s and '50s including: The Andrews Sisters and The McGuire Sisters. The Vintage Trio brings back the sound of the Golden Age of Hollywood performing popular Big Band, jazz and pop standards with tight harmonies and
engaging showmanship. In Tandem boasts a repertoire of hundreds of songs
including a comfortable mix of genres.

Friday, August 12th at 8pm- MISS TIKI OASIS BURLESQUE REVUE - starring the Jigglewatts
This burlesque show from Austin, Texas, invites you on a glamorous romp through the tropics and beyond as they present the Miss Tiki Oasis Tour. The Huffington Post calls their revue "sassy and sexy-classy entertainment." The show is a celebration of
glamour and exotic delights featuring Layna D'Luna, Something Blue, and 2 winners of the Miss Tiki Oasis Crown, Ruby Joule and Jolie Goodnight.

Sunday, August 14th at 7:30p- JILL SOBULE IN CONCERT
A nationally recognized singer, Denver's own Jill Sobule is also a songwriter/humorist and is perhaps best known for her 1995 self-titled album, "Jill Sobule," which yielded the hit songs, "I Kissed A Girl" (the original!) and "Supermodel" (featured in the movie, "Clueless"). With seven albums to her credit, Jill has performed with such legendary artists as Neil Young, Cyndi Lauper, and Warren Zevon.

Fridays, August 19th and 26th at 8pm- MOTOWN LEGENDS REVUE - SONGS AND STORIES OF DETROIT CITY

Audiences always enjoy one of Denver's favorite entertainers, Ron Ivory and his band when they present this high energy, nostalgic show about one of music's greatest eras, Berry Gordy's infamous MOTOWN. From Smokey Robinson to The Supremes, to Michael Jackson, and all the legendary acts in between, it's a foot-stomping and heart-tugging trip down memory lane.

Saturday, August 20th at 1:30pm= PROPER SCARLET IN CONCERT
Proper Scarlet is an acoustic and electronic trio that blends strong melodies and ornate beats into alternative pop and dance music. The trio includes: Julia Brochey on bass and vocals, Brian Levy on keys, and Christian Lowsley on drums. All the members
of the trio are classically trained on various instruments.

Wednesday, August 24th at 7:30pm- THE JOYFUL TRIO - Gospel

Well-known performers in the Denver music/theater scene, Traci Kern, Ryan Belinak, and Kristen Samu blend their powerful voices together to bring you a night of dazzling gospel standards and modern gospel. They will be backed by a live three piece band. You're sure to be on your feet for this show!

Sunday, August 28th at 8pm - MATT MONROE'S PROPAGANDA - STAND UP COMEDY NIGHT - FREE!!

Propaganda showcases the finest in standup comedy, each month features some of Colorado's most talented comedians and a rotating array of national talent, including some who have been seen on television, as well as clubs around the country.
Produced by Denver comic, Matt Monroe, who has done standup in LA and Chicago. Voted Best Comedy Night by Westword 2014.

Wednesday, August 31st at 8pm- DRAG DECADES WITH DRAG QUEEN - SHIRLEY DELTA BLOW

One of Denver's favorite drag divas, Shirley Delta Blow, takes the audience on an epic journey through the unforgettable decade of the 2000s. Music, fashion and the pop culture of the era will be celebrated in drag. Come in costume if you'd like! Other performers include: Vivian LeCher (Miss Gay Pride of Colorado), Zarah (Drag Machine), and Dan D Lite (Lord of the Butterflies). A fun night out!
