11th Annual Neustadt JAAMM Festival, a celebration of Jewish arts, authors, movies and music, will be presented at Denver's Mizel Arts and Culture Center at the Staenberg-Loup Jewish Community Center starting October 4th and running through November 18th, 2018. This year's JAAMM Festival offers a diverse array of cultural events for families, young people and adults. Festival highlights include a family concert by Jewish rock star, Rick Recht, comedy/music by Carmen Sandiego songwriter, Sean Altman, an evening of music by Grammy nominated clarinetist David Krakauer (Voyages - from Debussy to world music), and a presentation by Bryan Fogel, winner of the 2018 Academy Award for Best Documentary, "Icarus." Other notable events include an appearance by bi-partisan CNN commentator and viral TED Talk (3 million views), lecturer and author, Sally Kohn, a humorous presentation by "The Simpsons" longest show writer, author Mike Reiss about the making of the legendary TV series in celebration of its 30th anniversary, and an evening with a James Beard winning chef, Alon Shaya.
