The Brothers Lionheart is now playing at Det KGL. Teater. Performances run through 24 February. Experience Astrid Lindgren’s beloved tale about courage, sibling bonding and the struggle against evil.
Skorpan is a young and fearful boy who knows he will die soon. His brother, Jonathan, tells him of the land of Nangijala to where one journeys in the afterlife. It’s a place of campfires and true adventure, the place from where all adventures originate.
But there are adventures that should never be visited. The two boys unite in Nangijala as the Brothers Lionheart where they fight for freedom in the Rose Valley, one of Nangijala’s two valleys occupied by the evil Tengil.
Experience this magnificent adventure and audience favourite presented by House Director Thomas Bendixen and set in a mesmerising visual universe by internationally renowned video artist Tal Rosner and with commanding dramatisation by Line Mørkeby.
Take the children by the hand and journey with them to Astrid Lindgren’s magical land of Nangijala.
The Brothers Lionheart will be performed in Danish.
