Do you remember the Christmas classic story written by Barbara Robinson entitled The Best Christmas Pageant Ever? If this book was a favorite of yours, this musical will be too. The musical production will keep you laughing at the outrageous shenanigans of the Herdmans children, who have the reputation of being the worst kids in the history of the world. The poorly behaved Herdmans come to church one Sunday because they hear from a classmate that there is free food. Then the unexpected happens. They become members of the churchs Christmas show. During the initial rehearsal, the director needs to share and explain the Christmas story to the Herdmans because they never heard it. After the near cancellation of the show and many out of control rehearsals, it is opening night. You will stop laughing and will become emotionally touched (maybe brought to tears) by the change in the Herdmans behavior and their belief in the Christmas story. Read Less >
