The Grand's 48th Annual Grand Gala will celebrate Delaware Day on December 7 with a live performance by the iconic band Kool & The Gang, known for hits like "Celebration" and "Cherish." The evening will also honor Wilmington Mayor Michael S. Purzycki with the Grand Medal for Excellence. Following the concert at The Grand, guests can enjoy the Ultimate After Party at The Hotel DuPont, complete with themed rooms, local live music, and a vibrant atmosphere. Proceeds from the gala will support The Grand's Community Engagement Programs, providing access to the arts for the Wilmington community.
