All performances will be held OUTDOORS adjacent to Possum Hall, which is located at 441 Old Laurel Rd, Georgetown. (There will be rain dates in the case of any shows that have to be rescheduled due to inclement weather.) GODSPELL is a modern vibrant retelling of the biblical parables and the last days of Jesus life. It is a joyous, contemporary version of the Gospel according to St. Matthew in music and dance that spreads Christs message of kindness, tolerance, and love in sometimes funny and sometimes sentimental ways. Songs include Save the People, Turn Back, O Man, Beautiful City, and Day by Day. The musical features the talents of Anthony Natoli (Jesus) and Sarah Rose (John and Judas), Lewes; Alonzo Dixon, Bridgeville; Abby Krams, Blair Williams, and Ashlie Workman, Millsboro; Dillon Mangene and Abigail Porter, Seaford; Missy Spangler, Milford, and Devon Lynch, Georgetown.The Production Team is led by stage director John H. Hulse of Rehoboth Beach; musical director, Stacey Hartman of Milford; stage manager Donna Flomp of Milton; and production assistant Jake Darmstadler of Georgetown. More than 20 people help out with behind-the-scenes work to put this show on, including Chase Schirmer and Ruth Lawson - Lighting Design; Ed O'Connor and Cast - Set Design; Fred Dean - Set Construction; Rosanne Pack - Publicity; Gary Conaway - Photos; John Zinzi - Website; Dawn Conaway - PPP Executive Director; and Gail Brown - Box Office. Conceived and Originally Directed by John-Michael Tebelak; Music and New Lyrics by Stephen Schwartz; Originally Produced on the New York Stage by Edgar Lansbury, Stuart Duncan, and Joseph Beruh; Music for "By My Side" was written by Peggy Gordon and the lyrics thereof by Jay Hamburger. Godspell is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI.
