Delaware Theatre Company, the only theatre in the State of Delaware developing new works for Broadway, is proud to announce that single tickets for our 2016-2017 season will go on sale at 10am on Monday, August 1st.
"We are thrilled to welcome over 350 new subscribers this year, and are excited to open this new season to single ticket buyers", says Executive Director Bud Martin. "Ticket buyers will get to experience the development of three new productions for Broadway or Off-Broadway - something extremely unique to the Greater Wilmington and Philadelphia area".
The 2015-2016 season was the most ambitious season in the 38-year history of the theatre company. With two shows having been developed for Broadway, Maurice Hines' TAPPIN' THRU LIFE and DINER, sales skyrocketed and led to the first season ever to gross over one-million dollars in tickets. "Over 36,000 patrons experienced the magic of Live Theatre last season, and we look forward to welcoming more of our community to join us at the theatre!" says Martin.
New This Year: the theatre has released a new limited section of seats for only $20-25 per performance. The remaining single tickets range in price from $30-$55, depending on your seat and day of performance.
The 2016-2017 season includes:
