With a leaky roof in need of some urgent repairs, Possum Point Players are reaching out to friends, patrons, and community members to join them for a musical revue fundraiser, "You've Got A Friend," July 7, 8, and 9. Friday and Saturday shows are at 7:30 PM; Sunday show is at 2:00 PM.

Tickets are $25, and can be purchased at (302) 856-4560 or at www.PossumPointPlayers.org. Donations to the roof fund can be directly made to the Players at 441 Old Laurel Rd, PO Box 96; Georgetown, DE 19947.

The "You've Got A Friend" event also features a silent auction, raffles and a bake sale. Included in the auction are pieces of fine fashion jewelry, restaurant gift certificates, theme baskets, art work and baskets of spirits.

"You've Got A Friend" features the talents of Cat Baker, Lillian Blake, Abby Chesney, Dawn Conaway, Donna de Kuyper, Cheryl Graves, Beth Howlett, Mary O'Neil, Deni Robinson, Marsha Shull, Leigh Usilton and Ashlie Workman. Joining the women are Claudius Bowden, Dan Carney, Max Dick, Alonzo Dixon, Dan Foskey, Tim Free, and Mike Mahaffie.

Director John H. Hulse said, "This stellar cast will perform some of Broadway's funniest and most touching songs about friends and friendship." Rebecca McDaniel is the music director.

Possum Point Players is supported, in part, by grants from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency dedicated to nurturing and supporting the arts in Delaware, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts.
