Director Jim Hartzell and the Possum Point Players announce the cast for their 2015 Christmas show, "The Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge."

The cast of 14 and their hometowns includes the following: Jill Lewandowski, Bridgeville; Cat Baker, Georgetown; Marsha Shull, Frankford; Chuck Rafferty, Laurel; Peter and Leslie Snowdon-Jones, Tom Trietley and John Marino, Lewes; George Mason, Milford; Claire Fiedler and Anne Maloney, Millsboro; John Zinzi, Milton; Cheryl Graves, Rehoboth Beach; and Pat Erhardt, Seaford.

"The Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge" is the trial of the century! A year after his miraculous transformation, Ebenezer Scrooge is back to his old ways and is suing Jacob Marley and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future for breaking and entering, kidnapping, slander, pain and suffering, attempted murder and the intentional infliction of emotional distress.

The ghosts employ Solomon Rothschild, England's most charismatic, savvy, and clever barrister. Scrooge, that old penny pincher, represents himself. One by one, Bob Cratchit, Scrooge's nephew Fred, solicitor and philanthropist Sara Anne Wainwright, and the ghosts themselves take the witness stand to give their account of the night in question.

Show dates for "The Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge" are Dec. 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, and 13; Friday and Saturday shows, 7:30 PM, and Sunday matinees, 2 PM. Tickets are $18; $17 for seniors and students, and may be purchased by call the ticketline, 302-856-4560 or on line at www.possumpointplayers.org.
