Named Chicago's Best Musical, Best New Play and Funniest Show, Musical of the Living Dead makes it East Coast premiere in July 2014.

Musical of the Living Dead takes audiences on a rip-roaring journey beyond the grave with its satirical send-ups of classic zombie films and musical theater. The curtain opens on 10 survivors of a recent zombie apocalypse, trapped in a farmhouse and willing to try anything to escape. Writers Marc Lewallen and Brad Younts gleefully fulfill horror-film conventions in creating the melee of the zombie apocalypse as we watch the cast of memorable characters - all brought together seeking refuge from a ravenous horde of brain-eating (and dancing) zombies.

The zombies and humans alike take part in the memorable show tunes, original songs inspired from such disparate sources as George Gershwin and Green Day - complete with tap dancing, power ballads and street-smart rapping zombies. Musical of the Living Dead is a hysterical, hummable, 4D zombie doomsday adventure complete with one of Bootless' messiest Splatter Zone ever. And, this time, it's not just blood coming your way.

MUSICAL OF THE LIVING DEAD features Book & Lyrics by Marc Lewallen and Brad Younts, Music by Mary Spray and Musical Arrangements by Benjamin Nichols. The show runs today, July 11, 12, 18, 19 - All shows at 8:00 pm. Tickets: $30 - Splatter Zone Seating / $25 - General Admission (All Ages). Only 35 Splatter Zone seats available at each show. Splatter Zone tickets includes a VIP Entrance, Advanced Seating and a Private Bar.

All performances play The Black Box @ OperaDelaware, 4 South Poplar Street, Wilmington, DE 19801. Plenty of free parking. Venue is ADA accessible. Within walking distance from Amtrak station.

MOTLD will most likely sell out. If you are feeling lucky, you can always come to the theater and wait to see about No-Shows and/or Cancellations. However, there is no guarantee that you will be admitted.

***THIS IS A VERY MESSY SHOW. BOOTLESS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE TO CLOTHING OR ANY OTHER PERSONAL ITEMS. FOLKS, DON'T BRING PURSES, BAGS OR ANYTHING ELSE THAT CAN'T GET WET, DIRTY OR NEEDS TO BE LEFT ON THE FLOOR. IT WON'T SURVIVE!!
