The Kent County Theatre Guild continues the season of laughter with A. R. Gurney's BUFFALO GAL, March 4, 5, 11, 12, 13, 18, and 19.
Amanda has been a star of both stage and screen (possible emphasis on "has been"). In hopes of reviving her career, she has returned to her hometown, Buffalo, to star as Mme. Lyubov Ranevskaya in a local production of Chekhov's The Cherry Orchard. Roy, the production's Stage Manager, Debbie, his eager assistant, and Jackie, the determined Director, are all excited to have a "big name" in their show. But, what will happen if she gets a better offer, or if she really is "over the hill"?
The cast includes: Roy - David Schucker, Debbie - Turquoise Olezene, Jackie - Lezlie Eustis, Amanda - Necia Beck, James - Arthur Paul, and Dan - John Zinzi.
BUFFALO GAL will open on Friday, March 4, 2011 at 8 PM, with evening performances on March 5, 11, 12, 18, and 19, and a Sunday matinee performance at 2 PM on March 13. For tickets or more information, visit KCTG.org
