Victoria Theatre Association presents Town Hall Theatre's Pinkalicious The Musical as part of VTA's ImPACt program, November 4th at 7pm and November 5th at 11am & 3pm, in the Mathile Theatre of the Benjamin & Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center, downtown Dayton. Tickets are on sale now at the Ticket Center Stage Box Office, via phone 228-3630 or online at www.ticketcenterstage.com.

Too much of a good thing can be downright unhealthy and bad for a young lady's complexion! That's exactly what Pinkalicious finds out in this musical adapatation of the much-loved book of the same name. Authors Elizabeth and Victoria Kann teamed up with award-winning composer and lyricist, John Gregor, to adapt their popular children's book about a young girl who is determined to eat as many pink cupcakes as she wants. When she wakes up one morning to find that she has turned bright pink from head to toe, her doctor diagnoses her with pinkititis. But will Pinkalicious understand the importance of moderation before it's too late?

The 25 member cast marks the Town Hall Theatre return of Centerville residents Cecily Dowd, (Tower Heights Middle School), and Clare Kneblik, (6th Grade, home-schooled) who alternate playing the precocious Pinkalicious. It also features adult performers Matthew Owens and Sydney Lanier, who play Pink's parents. Cincinnati native, Tara Murphy, rounds out the cast, bringing her unique comedic style to the role of Dr. Wink, who plays an integral part in treating her patient when she diagnoses her with the dreaded Pinkatitus!

The show runs 70 minutes and is recommended for children ages 4 and up.

Tickets for Pinkalicious The Musical are $15 for adults and $10 for children 12 & under are available at the Ticket Center Stage Box Office, located in the Wintergarden of the Schuster Center, via phone 888-228-3630 or 937-228-3630, and online at www.ticketcenterstage.com.

Pinkalicious The Musical is presented by the Landmark Children's Theatre Company, the theatre's premiere series featuring professional and volunteer adult actors performing with young people. It is directed by Chris Harmon, who previously directed Town Hall Theatre's Disney's Camp Rock, A Year with Frog and Toad, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and Disney's Geppetto and Son.
