"I am honored to be entrusted with the position of Board Chair for Victoria Theatre Association," said Shaker. "Former Chair, Neil Freund, has been a tremendous mentor to me throughout the transition and I look forward to working with my fellow Trustees, VTA staff and volunteers, to continue VTA's continuing mission of enriching the lives of our community with high quality entertainment, education and artistic engagement."
With a background in speech pathology, Shaker has lead Concept Rehab, Inc. for 20 years. She is active in the Ohio Health Care Association (OHCA), American Health Care Association (AHCA), World President's Organization (WPO) and is on the Board of Trustees of the National Association of Support of Long Term Care (NASL).
No stranger to non-profit and community organizations, Shaker is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Dayton, served on the Dayton Art Institute (DAI) Associate Board, Chaired the Oktoberfest benefiting the DAI, and was 2015 Woman of the Year for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. She resides in Kettering with her husband Mark and daughter Sophia.
