Victoria Theatre Association presents the February edition of Mid-Day Arts Café, Tuesday, February 15 in the Mathile Theatre at the Benjamin and Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center, featuring Dayton Ballet Company members, Erika Cole and Justin Michael Koertgen.
The Mid-Day Arts Café, a lunchtime collaboration between Victoria Theatre Association and area arts and cultural organizations, offers culture lovers the opportunity to learn, network and enjoy a delicious lunch from Citilites Restaurant & Bar on the second Tuesday of each month. February's Mid-Day Arts Café showcases Dayton Ballet Company members, Erika Cole and Justin Michael Koertgen. Justin and Erika will perform Justin Michael Koertgen's The Proposal and Dermot Burke's Still Lifes. Café attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in a question and answer session led by Dayton Ballet Director, Dermot Burke and Ballet Mistress, Karen Russo Burke. Justin and Erika will join in the discussion as they talk about their dance careers, partnering and what it takes to create a ballet, from start to finish.
Tickets for the Mid-Day Arts Café include a delicious box lunch from Citilites Restaurant & Bar and a chance to network with fellow arts and culture lovers while Dayton's incredible arts companies show off their talents, tell their stories, preview upcoming performances, and answer your questions.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m. with Dayton Ballet's program starting promptly at noon in order to conclude by 1 p.m. Mark your calendars for the March café, showcasing a program by FilmDayton.
