Victoria Theatre Association announces the 2011- 2012 PNC Family Series presentation of THE MAGIC SCHOOL BUS LIVE!: THE CLIMATE CHALLENGE March 24 & 25 at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. in the historic Victoria Theatre.  Tickets are on sale now at the Ticket Center Stage Box Office, via phone (937) 228.3630 or online at www.ticketcenterstage.com.

The Magic School Bus series is celebrating its 25th anniversary with the all-new musical adventure THE MAGIC SCHOOL BUS LIVE: THE CLIMATE CHALLENGE.  Ms. Frizzle and her students are on a quest to learn why our planet’s polar ice is melting, why it matters, and what they can do to help.  This unconventional class field trip takes the audience on a swift tour from the arctic to the equator, where they will discover signs of climate change as well as learn how using alternative energy, recycling and conservation can help make a positive difference for our planet.  Based on the latest book from Joanna Cole and Bruce Degen’s The Magic School Bus series, THE MAGIC SCHOOL BUS LIVE! brings the characters and lessons to life through music, adventure and education.

On Saturday, March 24, title sponsor PNC presents Storytime at 3 p.m. in the Kettering Reception Room located on the third floor of the Victoria. Children and their parents are encouraged to join as volunteer readers from PNC bring to life more stories about conservation.

Tickets for THE MAGIC SCHOOL BUS LIVE are priced at $20 for adults and $18 for children (ages 12 and under).  Tickets are on sale now through Ticket Center Stage, and may be purchased at the Ticket Center Stage Box Office in downtown Dayton or by phone, at (937) 228-3630 or toll free (888) 228-3630. Ticket Center Stage hours are Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., Saturday, noon - 4 p.m., and two hours prior to each performance. Tickets may also be purchased online at www.ticketcenterstage.com.

Support for Victoria Theatre Association’s Family Advocacy Program through the PNC Family Series is provided by SoBran, Inc. The official candy of Victoria Theatre Association’s PNC Family Series is Esther Price Candies Corporation. ThinkTV is the official Media Partner for the PNC Family Series.
