Victoria Theatre Association kicks off the summer of 2016 with the Family Flix Matinee Series today, July 7, and the Cool Films Series July 8-10 at the historic Victoria Theatre. Tickets are on sale now at Ticket Center Stage. To purchase, call (937) 228-3630, toll free (888) 228-3630 or purchase online at www.ticketcenterstage.com.

"That'll do, pig." Babe is a shy piglet who doesn't know where he fits in. But, he soon discovers he can be anything he wants to be - even an award-winning sheepdog! Rated G. Kids will squeal with delight as courageous Babe, the pig, kicks them off on a wonderful journey of the Family Flix Matinee Series Thursday, July 7 at 10 a.m. Tickets are $3 per person and may be purchased at Tickets Center Stage one hour before the show.

The Cool Films Series begins with REAR WINDOW, starring James Stewart and Grace Kelly, July 8-9 at 7 p.m. and July 10 at 3 p.m. One of Hitchcock's masterpieces, REAR WINDOW was nominated for every Oscar® in 1954 but lost to On the Waterfront. A wheelchair-bound photographer spies on his neighbors from his apartment window and becomes convinced one of them has committed murder. The film was beautifully restored in 2000 to its former Technicolor glory. Enjoy Hitchcock at his "master of suspense" best. Not rated.

Tickets for REAR WINDOW are $6 each or passbook of 10 tickets for $35 and can be purchased at Ticket Center Stage.

Also enjoy FREE popcorn and FREE soda one hour prior to REAR WINDOW. And don't forget a Cool Films tradition-a classic cartoon before the movie!

The Presenting Sponsors for the VTA Cool Films Series are the Ohio Arts Council and Montgomery County.
