Victoria Theatre Association present s THE ALUMINUM SHOW as a part of the Miami Valley & Good Samaritan Hospitals Broadway Series March 9-21 at the historic Victoria Theatre.

A great family experience, THE ALUMINUM SHOW boasts eye-catching special effects, brilliant color and original music, that, when combined, create "life" from everyday aluminum foil. Clad in shimmering aluminum, THE ALUMINUM SHOW is uniquely its own. Industrial, yet innovative, THE ALUMINUM SHOW captivates audiences with interactive components, spectacular light and special effects.

Israeli-born performance artist Ilan Azriel created THE ALUMINUM SHOW in 2003. Last year, the show wowed audiences at the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland and played to enthusiastic reviews at Trump Plaza in Atlantic City. More recently, the show performed in Charlotte, NC to rave reviews.

"THE ALUMINUM SHOW is meant to dazzle the senses!" said Azriel.

Aluminum takes shape in many ways throughout the show, especially the air conditioning flexible pipes. The performers bring the pipes to life by creatively adding volume to build figures and wrap people. The show's inspiration comes not only from dance, but also from machine movement, manufacturing lines, and most importantly imagination.

"Kids will go crazy over all of this silver-and-black spectacle, but the best family magic occurs when an audience member is brought onstage, wrapped in foil, and eaten by an aluminum duct. He simply disappeared!" (theatremania.com)

The aluminum alone cannot receive all the dazzling credit as the show truly comes to life with the dancers. Time Out magazine calls the performance, "A finely orchestrated visual collage." This show also includes audience participation on and off the stage, making it a perfect evening of entertainment with the entire family.
