As a special event during its presentation of Gregg Coffin's new musical, right next to me, The Human Race, Dayton's own professional theatre company, will hold "Blue Star Mothers Night" Friday, June 3.
For that 8pm performance, $10 from each adult single ticket purchase will be donated to the Dayton Chapter of Blue Star Mothers, an organization that exists to support military personnel and families. Represents of Blue Star Mothers will be on hand to explain more about their group. That's a particularly fitting beneficiary for ticket sales from right next to me, because the musical is about a military widow on a quest to come to terms with her husband's death and recapture her life.Tickets for "Blue Star Mothers Night" or any other performance are available via www.humanracetheatre.org or by calling Ticket Center Stage at (937) 228-3630.Are you an avid theatergoer?
