Victoria Theatre Association and the Heidelberg Distributing Company will present the 2011 Michelob Ultra Cool Films Series showing of John Huston's The African Queen, August 12-14, 2011 at the historic Victoria Theatre.

The African Queen is a romantic adventure starring Humphrey Bogart, Katharine Hepburn and Robert Morley. Bogart gives an Oscar®- winning performance as Charlie Allnut, a scruffy and crude steamboat owner whose passenger, snooty and strait-laced Rose Sayer (Hepburn), out to avenge her brother's death by bombing the Louisia, a German warship.

With four Oscar® nominations and one win for Bogart as Best Actor in a Leading Role, The African Queen follows this mismatched couple as they tackle the many obstacles during their journey, even love! With the pulse-pounding close calls littered throughout this romantic - yet filled with adventure - classic film, audiences will adore The African Queen.
