And so another Holiday season is upon us and 2018 is right around the corner!

Shadowbox Live bids farewell to the ground-breaking meta-media production Circle of Blood, closing Sunday, November 5th, and the audience-acclaimed sketch comedy show The Rocking Dead, closing Saturday, November 11th, and jumps into the Holiday season with both feet with Holiday Hoopla 26, opening November 16th.

Holiday Hoopla, called "the grand-daddy of all holiday shows" mixes sketch comedy with seasonal music and features the hilarious send-up The Santa Babies. Shadowbox Live's longest running show, Holiday Hoopla has been entertaining audiences for a quarter of a century and has become a Columbus holiday tradition. Be fair warned: Holiday Hoopla sells out fast (and weeks in advance)!

Right on the heels of Holiday Hoopla is Shadowbox Live's newest production: Cratchit. We all know the story of Ebenezer Scrooge but what about his clerk, the overworked and underpaid Bob Cratchit? Shadowbox Live's original jukebox musical Cratchit, filled with popular rock and holiday music, follows this unsung hero on that same fateful Christmas Eve. Cratchit opens Sunday, November 26th and runs select Saturdays and Sundays in December.

Filling out the season, Shadowbox Live presents The Holiday Lunchbox running Tuesdays - Fridays at 1:00pm in December. Celebrate the season with Shadowbox Live's 45-minute matinee, The Holiday Lunchbox, featuring the best holiday-themed comedy sketches and music from our 25-year holiday show history plus the hilarious musical send-up The Snow Bunnies.

And, when you're ready to say goodbye to 2017 and ring in 2018 Shadowbox Live presents New Year's Eve at Shadowbox Live on December 31st. A dinner banquet, two hours of live music and dancing, party favors and a champagne toast will have you rocking out one year and ringing in the next!

2017 has been an incredible year for Shadowbox Live. By the time we reach New Year's Eve, Shadowbox will have produced 18 new shows and performed more than 500 times:

· Sketch comedy shows: Body Heat, Guilty Pleasures, The Best of Shadowbox Live, The Rocking Dead, Holiday Hoopla, The 2nd Company Lunchbox, and The Holiday Lunchbox

· Musical tribute shows: Evolutionaries: The Stories and Music of David Bowie and Prince and Bigger Than Jesus

· Dance theater: Broken Whispers (based on F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby)

· Broadway musicals Little Shop of Horrors and Rock of Ages

· Educational and Community showcases: STEM Rocks the 'Box, The Bootcamp Showcase Show, Skills USA, 6Words in the City, and Are You Ready to Rock?, featuring Rock and Roll Hall of Fame board members performing along with Shadowbox Live metaperformers

· Meta-media: Circle of Blood, blending video animation with live action bringing David Mack's best selling graphic Novel to life on our stage!

And 2018 is shaping up to be just as exciting and boundary pushing as 2017 was!
