Victoria Theatre Association (VTA) presents the popular lunchtime arts preview series Mid-Day Arts Café on Tuesday, March 1 in the Wintergarden of the Benjamin & Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center. The March Mid-Day Arts Cafe features a preview of Dayton Contemporary Dance Company's IN THE SPIRIT OF... JOY. Tickets can be purchased at www.TicketCenterstage.com or by calling 937-228-3630 or 888-228-3630.

Each Mid-Day Arts Café begins with a delicious lunch box provided by Citilites at the Schuster Center at 11:30 a.m., with the presentation starting promptly at noon. In March, Mid- Day patrons will enjoy excerpts from DCDC's spring show IN THE SPIRIT OF... JOY, a performance that will open your spiritual heart with joy as it celebrates the music of the African-American church; rallying the forces of soulful dance and gospel music. A question and answer session will follow the performance.

Lunch options from Citilites at the Schuster Center are available to Mid-Day Arts Café patrons and include: turkey on ciabatta; ham and cheese on croissant; chicken curry on croissant; vegetarian harvest sandwich; vegan harvest sandwich; Kale chicken Caesar salad; and a gluten-free chicken Caesar salad.

Doors open at 11:30 a.m. with the event starting promptly at noon in order to conclude by 1 p.m. For more information on the 2015-2016 Mid-Day Arts Café season, visit www.victoriatheatre.com.

Tickets are $15 each or $12 for current VTA Season Ticket Holders and includes a complete box lunch provided by Citilites at the Schuster Center and discounted parking in The Arts Garage, located on the corner of Second St. and Ludlow. Mid-Day Arts Café is a series presented by Victoria Theatre Association offering a variety of performances from local Dayton arts groups. In cooperation with the Dayton Performing Arts Alliance (Dayton Ballet, Dayton Opera and Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra), Muse Machine, Dayton Gay Men's Chorus, DCDC, Stivers Dance Ensemble, and Metaphorically Speaking, Mid-Day Arts Café offers the chance to network with area arts lovers, view sneak peeks of upcoming performances, and get out of the office for an enjoyable lunch time!

Victoria Theatre Association is one of Dayton's premier arts organizations, presenting the Premier Health Broadway Series, the Morris Family Series, the Cool Films Series, the Projects Unlimited Star Attractions, National Geographic Live Series, and The Frank M. Tait Foundation Discovery Series, which features curriculum-enhanced live theatre productions for school children. In addition to the performances it presents, Victoria Theatre Association also manages the historic Victoria Theatre, the Benjamin & Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center, and the Metropolitan Arts Center, which houses The Loft Theatre. Victoria Theatre Association receives funding from a variety of diverse public, corporate, individual and private sources, including the Montgomery County Arts and Cultural District and the Ohio Arts Council. The Ohio Arts Council and The National Endowment for the Arts helped fund this program or organization with state tax dollars to encourage economic growth, educational excellence and cultural enrichment for all Ohioans.
