The Dayton Playhouse will present THE MIRACLE WORKER from October 9 - October 18.
Jennifer Lockwood, daughter of Dayton Theatre Hall of Fame inductees Jim and Dodie Lockwood, has made her return to the Dayton Playhouse to direct the upcoming production of The Miracle Worker. Jennifer, who practically grew up on the community theatre stage, is proof that talent and artistry can indeed be genetic. You can definitely see her years of acting experience and the influence of her very talented parents in her work.
Playing the role of Annie in this production is the talented Charity Farrell. Charity, who's spent years playing children's roles on practically every stage in town, has really stepped into the role of Annie. It's quite obvious that Miss Farrell is using her past stage experience to easily move into some very complex adult roles.
Ten year old Lima resident Claire Warnecke is the newest addition to the Dayton Playhouse family playing the role of Helen Keller.
The remainder of the cast includes:
Captain Keller: Geoff Burkman
Kate: Wendi Michael
James: Korey Harlow
Aunt Ev: Cynthia Karns
Mr. Anagnos: Kurt Cypher
Viney: ShaDonna Crosby
