Victoria Theatre Association presents the Chase Broadway University's Changed for Good 10 Minute Playwriting Festival project winners. In association with the Miami Valley & Good Samaritan Hospitals Broadway Series presentation of WICKED, six plays written by high school students were selected for production and presentation at the Festival. The Changed for Good Festival takes place March 5-7, 2010 and is open to the public.
From a submission pool of 25 plays from six area high schools, six winning plays have been selected:
· The Big, the Bad, and the Ugly- by Philip Kellogg (Yellow Springs High School)
· The Tortoise and the Hare: A Prequel- by Jasmine Crowder, Courtney Gordon, Janicqua Jordan and Eleesha Moore (Dayton Early College Academy)
· Here, Kitty-Kitty...- by Ben Cloud, Prentiss Haney, Taylor Kingston and Anne Scott (Stivers School for the Arts High School)
· A Charming Deceit- by John Dewar, Phillip Mercurio, Bryson Smith and Dydney Stacy (Stivers School for the Arts High School)
· Hooked on Therapy- by Stefany Lewis and Shirlisa Scott (Stivers School for the Arts High School)
· The Fairest of Them All- Elise Duncan, Sherry Jiao, Nandini Srinivasan, and Grace Wannemacher (Beavercreek High School)
