About VISION DANCE CENTER

Vision Dance Center (formerly American Ballet Academy) was founded in 2004 and is directed by Michelle Wright. Beginning with the 2012-2013 school year ABA will be known as Vision Dance Center, due to our expanded studio and curriculum along with our competitively successful dance competition team.

Miss Michelle is a teacher and choreographer who brings her passion, emotion, and love of life to the fine art of dance. She is a graduate of the High School of the Performing Arts in the heart of New York City. During her duration there she was awarded a two-year scholarship to the Joffrey Ballet School. Miss Michelle has also graduated with a BFA from the University of the Arts in 2000 receiving the Aleksei Judenic Ballet Prize. Following graduation, Miss Michelle has been teaching for over 15 years and is the proud owner of VDC. Miss Michelle strives on the fundamentals of technique for beginner through advanced students. She incorporates modern and contemporary techniques to fulfill the needs of today's dancers.
