Triangle Academy of Dance (TAD) in Cary, North Carolina, is a dance studio that offers a wide variety of dance classes, including ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop. For more than 30 years, we have been providing opportunities for people to see and learn classical ballet at reasonable costs.

Educational studies show that participation in the arts, as a performer or an observer, enhances creative thinking and writing skills, stimulates higher-level thought processes, and improves listening skills. The Triangle Academy of Dance is dedicated to developing dancers to their fullest artistic potential and providing them with valuable experiences in public performance.

In addition to cultivating the discipline, technique, and grace required of world-class dancers, our mission focuses on fostering an appreciation for ballet within the community. Our performances provide an opportunity for our community to enjoy exceptional ballet performed by the local youth.

To give the best experience in our dance classes, we pay special attention to the dance environment. We have three large studios with high ceilings, full-length mirrors, and spacious dressing areas, as well as sprung floors and double barres for added safety. At 60 x 40 feet, our third studio allows dancers to rehearse in a space as big as the Memorial Auditorium at the Duke Energy Performing Arts Center which is the largest theater in the area.
