Los Angeles Ballet (LAB) will celebrate its Season 17 Gala on Thursday, May 18 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills. This year's honorees are philanthropists Jeff Polak and Alia Tutor. The honorees are receiving Angel Awards for the extraordinary contributions they have made to LAB and the city of Los Angeles. 

Ballet Hispánico announces a ceremony to honor the passing of dance innovator Tina Ramirez, the iconic founding artistic director of the organization, to be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 5pm at 92NY.

Dance innovator Tina Ramirez, the founding artistic director of Ballet Hispánico, died peacefully on Tuesday evening surrounded by her family.

Finish your holiday shopping early this year and support the arts and dance.  The North Shore Civic Ballet (NSCB), a nonprofit dance company based in Marblehead, Massachusetts, kicks off its annual holiday online auction on Friday, November 19.

The event will witness more than 20 schools from across the Western Cape descend to the Theatre Foyer to exhibit their creative, colourful designs in hair, make-up and art as opposed to previous presentations in the form music, dance and instruments amongst others.

This year's honorees are Johnese Spisso, President of UCLA Health, CEO UCLA Hospital System and Associate Vice Chancellor, UCLA Health Services who will receive the Global Impact Award and actress and singer Sofia Carson, who will receive the Los Angeles Ballet Ambassador Award.
