About SUMTER CIVIC DANCE CO

The Freed School of Performing Arts strives to achieve excellence with each student who enters our school. We believe in a well-rounded dance curriculum that emphasizes safety and discipline. We believe that our students can continue their dance training with any instructor anywhere because we give them a strong background through ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, and gymnastics. Presently, we have dancers performing all over the world. Our school is celebrating more than 60 years of the best dance, karate, and gymnastics instruction available in the area. We invite you to join our dance family. Parents are invited and encouraged to watch class the first week of each month. Also, during the month of April, each student takes a class picture in their recital costume during their class time. Parents have the opportunity to purchase individual pictures of their child in their recital costume and/or a group picture of their entire class. Pictures are taken by a private photography company.
