Tripling down on its commitment to dynamic new work, American Repertory Ballet (ARB) returns to the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center June 10-11 with Premiere3, an evocative and intriguing triple bill. The program features world premieres by acclaimed choreographers Ethan Stiefel and Amy Seiwert, and the company premiere of the Arthur Mitchell classic, Holberg Suite. 

Dallas Black Dance Theatre (DBDT) is heading to North Macedonia to perform in the Skopje Dance Festival on April 12, 2023. DBDT will present a full performance of five works, including pieces choreographed by Darrell Grand Moultrie, Gregory Dolbashian, and My'Kal Stromile. Smuin Contemporary Ballet has announced its first-ever Early Bird Summer Intensive for pre-professional dancers. This four-day program, open to dancers aged 14-22, allows students to dive deeper into their artistry, learning directly from Smuin’s company artists.

Fast Forward provides the opportunity for award-winning and cutting-edge choreographers, both local and from around the country, to experiment. Choreographers Amy Seiwert, Duncan Cooper, Marika Brussel, Mariana Sobral and Dalia Rawson are creating brand new works that push the boundaries of classical ballet. Set to music ranging from classical to singer-songwriters performing live, this program will treat audiences to a fast-paced evening of new contemporary ballet, often described by the dancers as their favorite program of the season.

Since launching last April, Smuin Contemporary Ballet has led hundreds of aspiring and professional dancers through Virtual Classes in movement including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, dance-based fitness, and more.

Taught by Smuin dancers and alumni, the latest extension of these popular classes for all levels continues, plus the return of the starter 'Ballet FUNdamentals' workshop and “Easy Movin' with Smuin” class for seniors.
