In a year of uncertainty, and fear one could argue, “it is okay to postpone your plans.” “Nothing is happening anyway.” “It’s okay. Things will happen when they happen.” And I agree with those statements. However, while many segments of our lives are on hold (leases are not getting increased, student loans are frozen, etc.), many are still running, just like my student visa deadline. 

When I was a little girl, I, like many other five-year-old dancers, flounced around my parent’s living room  in a tutu like it was my job.

I came back home to Brazil for my spring break and never went back to Baldwin Wallace University. Because of the pandemic, there is a travel ban imposed by the US to Brazilians, preventing me from returning to campus this fall.

SUNY Potsdam has moved its dance classes online! According to newyorkupstate.com, Assistant Professor of Dance Cynthia DuFault launched cyndance.org, which allows her four beginning and intermediate modern dance and ballet courses to have a resource center, a virtual community and a source of validation.

Due to popular demand and with sell-out shows in Kidderminster and Bewdley at the start of the 2018 tour, The Dancing Club, a new play written and directed by Caroline Jester, has added a very special performance and venue to its world premiere national touring schedule.

Christopher Gattelli, the Tony-winning choreographer, is practically jumping with joy over the success of ''Disney's Newsies: The Broadway Musical!'' and its giant leap to the big screen. Its three-day screenings (Feb. 16, 18 and 22) broke records to become the highest-grossing Broadway event from Fathom Events. And now ''Disney's Newsies'' will return for an encore showing on Saturday, March 4, at 12:55 p.m.
