Moxie Dance Academy is proud to provide quality instruction, not only in technique, but also in dance education. Dance terminology is focused on at the higher levels and introduced to the beginners. Moxie Dance Academy maintains a family-friendly studio with age-appropriate music and choreography while still giving dancers and instructors the freedom to be expressive, current, and stylish. Our instructors are great role models and are well-trained in their art. Whether dancing competitively or for fun, we believe that learning dance in a healthy, creative environment expands imaginations, builds self-esteem, promotes self-discipline, and establishes a sense of teamwork and cooperation.

The University of Saint Joseph's acclaimed 5X5 Dance Festival brings together choreographers, performers, educators, and students to study, perform, and, of course, celebrate the multifaceted art of dance. Artists, students, and audiences share their experience, talent, and inspiration through master classes, workshops, discussions, and performances. The 17th Annual 5X5 Dance Festival performances and master classes will be held in the University of Saint Joseph's Autorino Center in West Hartford, Conn. on Saturday, Nov. 2, with a showcase performance at 7:30 p.m. Pre-show, site-specific performances will occur in the Bruyette Athenaeum starting at 7 p.m.
