With a history spanning over half a century, Minnesota Dance Theatre is an acclaimed dance company and school based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Since its debut in 1962, MDT has led the Twin Cities in performing, teaching, and celebrating the art of dance. Founded by Loyce Houlton, MDT ranks as one of the most enduring arts organizations and aspires to maintain the highest international artistic standards, while attracting audiences, dancers, and students from all cultural and economic backgrounds.
