Baumgartner Center for Dance opened in 2019 serving as Milwaukee Ballet's headquarters and the primary branch of our School & Academy.

From the 30-year veteran to the newest staff member, Milwaukee Ballet boasts a team of dedicated and experienced employees from across Wisconsin, the United States, and across the world.

Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre Names Adam W. McKinney as New Artistic Director

After a comprehensive international search aided by Management Consultants for the Arts (MCA), the Board of Directors of Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre (PBT) has announced the appointment of Adam W. McKinney as artistic director. He will be the company's seventh artistic director in its rich 54-year-history. McKinney, PBT's first artistic director of color, will begin his role in March 2023.

DNAWORKS presents a series of events on the campus of Texas Christian University (TCU) between October 9 and 23 that highlights the relationship and impact that the arts can play in social justice and equity work. Events of this residency range from a TCU Community Leaders Workshop to a multimedia dance performance, concluding with a Community Town Hall Meeting. The College of Fine Arts' newly formed Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Arts Programming Committee provided funding for this residency.

Wilson Center to Honor Claire and Glenn Hackmann at The Big Event

A shared commitment to the power of the arts will be celebrated on Sat., June 3, 2017, at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts (Wilson Center), as Greater Milwaukee philanthropic leaders Claire and Glen Hackmann are honored with the 13th annual EDDY Award. The presentation will take place at The Big Event, which serves as the major channel through which the Wilson Center raises funds for its arts education programs that impact the lives of more than 9,000 students from Southeast Wisconsin each year.
