Dance and Movement is a five-day workshop designed for dance educators in the educational setting. Although most participants teach dance in middle school, high school, or the collegiate level, all dance educators are welcome to attend and will no doubt gain useful information and movement to bring back to their students. Opening day includes a master class taught by our artist in residence, lite snacks after class and concluding the day with a meet and greet session. The following days include daily warm-up, 4 classes of the participant’s choice, share session, and an evening activity. Our workshop peaks with a banquet, a performance from our teaching artist, and final sharing of our week’s learning. This is a one of a kind workshop unlike any other professional development for dance out there! Dance educators won’t want to miss this valuable opportunity!
