About DANCE INSTITUTE

The studio is grounded in a competition-free philosophy that does not believe that the artistry of dance can be judged or scored. We put our focus on providing a solid foundation of strength, technique and performance skills for every dancer of any age or ability. We believe that strong ballet training is fundamental for all other dance styles and although not required, all students are encouraged to take ballet.

Additionally, there are no expensive costumes, entrance fees or travel costs associated with any of our classes because we aim to keep a dance education accessible to everyone. Costumes for our annual spring performance are simple accessories added to the student’s required class attire. The emphasis is to present a program that demonstrates a year’s worth of technical and artistic progress of our students, who relish the feeling of accomplishment.
