Now its thirteenth year, the Riverside Dance Festival, a partnership between Ballet Vero Beach and Riverside Theatre, is an intensive, two-week dance program that offers students the opportunity to work and learn from some of the best current American modern dance companies.

Essential Theatre hits the ground running for their 25th Anniversary season on January 5-6, 2024 with the first annual Southern  Fried Bake-Off, a 24 Hour play festival where playwrights, actors, and crew come together at Core Dance in downtown Decatur for an exhilarating 24 hours to write, rehearse, and perform brand new plays based on a Bake-Off theme and a list of “ingredients.'

home, a new screen dance film, will have its premiere screening at American Dance Festival's on May 1, 2023. The film is the entwined vision and collaboration of Adam Larsen (filmmaker) and Sue Schroeder (dancemaker) and exists within a metaphorical context, connecting the foundations of human existence — home, the body and nature — as inextricably linked, and acts as a record of a search for truth and the native beauty of reality.

Core Dance welcomes Loren McFalls and her film “| community |” as the fifth installation of Core Dance's REEL Art series. Her film will screen on the Core Dance store front (133 Sycamore St. Decatur, GA 30032 ) nightly from March 31, 2023 to May 25, 2023.
