Canton Ballet today announced details of its 2023-24 season, Imagine. Inspire. Ignite., with public performances to be held at the historic Canton Palace Theatre for its three programs: New Works (October 7, 2023), The Nutcracker (December 8–10, 2023), and Come Dance with Me! (April 13 & 14, 2024).

The Canton Ballet Board of Trustees has named Joy Raub as the new Executive Director of the Canton Ballet.

Broadway's Jeremy Jordan, best known for his portrayal of Jack Kelly in Disney's Newsies, will make his debut at the Axelrod Performing Arts Center in Deal Park, N.J. at 8 p.m. Saturday, June 17. Jordan will perform a concert along with his wife, Ashley Spencer (Grease, Rock of Ages). The couple married in 2012. 

This holiday season, experience the magic of Canton Ballet's beloved performances of The Nutcracker at the Canton Palace Theatre December 9-11. This year's performances feature American Ballet Theatre Principal dancer Hee Seo as the Sugar Plum Fairy and Canton Ballet alumnus and Cleveland Ballet Principal dancer Zachary Catazaro as her Cavalier.   

The Canton Ballet Board of Trustees announces that longtime Artistic and Executive Director Cassandra Crowley will retire on December 31, 2022. Jennifer Catazaro Hayward will take over the artistic leadership of the organization as Acting Artistic Director beginning January 1, 2023. Ms. Catazaro Hayward has been with the Canton Ballet for 40 years, first as a student and performer, later as a teacher, and most recently as Assistant Artistic Director.

Canton Ballet today announced details of its popular Celebrate Dance! performance, which will take the stage at the Canton Palace Theatre October 22 at 7:30PM. This will mark the first public performance back in the theatre for the Ballet since before the pandemic. 

Ashley Spencer's concert, as part of the Seth Concert Series, premiered yesterday at 8pm and re-airs today at 3pm.

Tonight, Ashley Spencer and special guest Kara Lindsay will perform a concert as part of The Seth Concert Series with Seth Rudetsky. It was also recently announced that Jeremy Jordan will join the concert as well.
