Following Greenwich Dance's closure at the end of last year, plans can now be announced for the continuation of some of its key activity through a series of new agreements fostered by the organisation, ensuring the local community continue to benefit from its work.

Greenwich Dance has announced plans for the continuation of its activity that supports communities and artists, through other organisations.

Once the show started, the entire crowd was filled with cheers and applause, as if showing off the complete end of the COVID-19 pandemic. The performers' passionate and powerful dance, combined with the unity of the audience, created an illusion that we were not in Japan.

Today, Greenwich Dance marks a new chapter in its history as it announces plans to move to a new state-of-the-art building in Thamesmead, South East London.

In conjunction with the opening of stop/time dance theater's Rockin' The Forest, Playhouse on Park is honored to host Connecticut Dances - A Visual History Exhibition curated by the Connecticut Dance Alliance in partnership with the Connecticut Historical Society. This photographic exhibition brings to life the valuable contribution that dance has played in the cultural vitality of Connecticut.

The Connecticut Dance Alliance in partnership with the Connecticut Historical Society announces the opening of the Connecticut Dances- A Visual History exhibition on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at the Connecticut Historical Society, 1 Elizabeth Street, Hartford, CT from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
