Navy Pier has announced the return of its free performing arts festival 'Chicago Live!,' slated for Saturday, Sept. 21, and Sunday, Sept. 22. This year's event will be the largest to-date, welcoming more than 100 Chicago-grown performing groups in back-to-back performances across five Pier stages.

The Gaylord and Dorothy Donnelley Foundation has awarded $2.9 million to support five Chicago organizations, enhancing cultural, artistic, and environmental initiatives in the community.

In this 2022 Year of Chicago Dance, small dance companies offer hundreds of programs and performances across Chicago neighborhoods, providing opportunities for all ages and walks of life to learn, watch, and enjoy dance. The Chicago-based Gaylord and Dorothy Donnelley Foundation (The Foundation) provides support to 28 dance companies, helping small arts organizations to reach into every neighborhood and build on Chicago's legacy as a center of artistic excellence.

Now on its ninth iteration, Chicago Dance Month honors the artists and companies that are eager to get back in front of audiences. Chicago Dance Month is excited to highlight a full slate of live and virtual performances, classes and more from Chicago's dance community.

Harvest Chicago Contemporary Dance Festival (HCCDF), produced by Nicole Gifford Dance and ology danceMelissa Mallinson, celebrates 10 years of showcasing contemporary dance with a diverse roster of 19 local, regional and national artists and companies-half performing September 20 and 21 and the other half performing September 27 and 28, all at the Ruth Page Center for the Arts, 1016 N. Dearborn, Chicago.

Zullo/RawMovement presents the Queerly Contemporary Festival on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 7:30pm at City Center Studio 4, 130 West 56th Street, NYC. Doors open at 7pm for a gallery exhibit with works by Ricardo Francis.
