A 12 year old boy, Jim Hawkins, finds a treasure map that belonged to a pirate called Captain Flint. In a quest for the buried treasure mentioned in the map, he, along with his friends Squire Trelawney and Doctor Livesey, travels in a ship called "Hispaniola" to a faraway island.
