Bestowing Hollywood glamor on Sammons Cabaret, the marvelous Peggy Lauren Lohr opens the series' spring season with "Songs from the Red Carpet," in honor of the OSCARS. Peggy and her husband, the accomplished pianist Bill Lohr, are no strangers to that glittering event, having performed at the Academy Awards Governors' Ball. Peggys impressive vocals have led to work with noted lyricists and composers including Marilyn and Alan Bergman, Johnny Mandel, and Michel LeGrand.The show begins with 8 p.m. Admission is $45 per person and includes the concert, light appetizers, assorted beverages, and valet parking. Refreshments are served from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. and again during intermission.
