“Unexpectedly comforting” - Les Rokoa - The Utah Review
“Immersed me in the mysterious beauty” - Lisa Wolfe, The Christian Century
Brace yourselves for a captivating and thought-provoking theatrical experience as Next Stage proudly presents "Meaningless." This unique solo performance, starring Oklahoma City-based Rodney Brazil, will grace the stage at the Fort Worth Fringe Festival. With four shows running from September 8th to September 10th, 2023, this is a limited engagement that promises to leave audiences spellbound. You can catch the performance at The Gallery Theatre at Arts Fort Worth, located at 1300 Gendy St, Fort Worth, TX 76107.
"Meaningless" offers a unique twist - a word-for-word rendition of Ecclesiastes from a modern translation, without commentary or proselytizing. The result is a mesmerizing monologue that combines humor, introspection, and existential ponderings. The show blurs the lines between comedy and introspection, prompting laughter and contemplation in equal measure.
