FMPAT is pleased announce Auditions for new students for 2009 Fall Term. This round of Auditions will be held on Friday, August 21st, 2009 by appointment only.

Since 1993 FMPAT's Young Artist Training Program has been providing professional level training for students interested in pursuing a career in the performing arts. Our program is one of the areas oldest and most unique youth training programs. The audition only program is purposely quite small to afford us the opportunity to offer a very low teacher student ratio. Students are able to work with the areas top teachers and working professionals. We have a wonderful history of producing outstanding young professional performers. Fall term includes opportunities for students to work with Stephanie Riggs, Adam C. Wright, Lee Harris, Mark Mullino and Lori Weber.

Auditions: All youth and teen students, ages 7 - 18 must audition for the program. Only a limited number of students will be accepted, on a space available basis. Previous experience is helpful, but not necessary, as the faculty looks for bright, naturally gifted children that are ready to learn and whom take direction well.

Information on what to prepare for the auditions, along with other important program information may be found in the YATP 2009 - 2010 Student Handbook found on the Admissions page in the Children's School section of our website.

To schedule an audition, email FMPATheatre@aol.com or call 972-724-0727. Due to very limited openings and high interest, new students are encouraged to audition early for the best chance at a space in the program.

Fall term classes begin on Saturday, August 22nd, so this will be the final round of auditions for the term.
