Terry Martin, Producing Artistic Director, today announced details of the Young Professionals for WaterTower Theatre (YP4WTT) launch event today, March 6, 2015. Hosted by YP4WTT Co-Chairs Katherine Christy and Sam Nicholson, the group will start off the evening with cocktails and hors d'oeurves at 7.30 pm at Union Park restaurant in Addison Circle, followed by a performance of The Spark at WaterTower Theatre at 9.00 pm (part of the Out of the Loop Fringe Festival), and concluding with a post-show dessert and toast to the cast at 10.00 pm in the lobby. The Launch Party is sponsored, in part, by Union Park Restaurant & Bar, Kruto Vodka, Polka-A-Dot-Bakery, Gentleman Jack and Lakewood Brewing Co.

WaterTower Theatre's young professionals group brings together people interested in engaging with the Theatre through attending performances, social events and exclusive behind-the-scenes opportunities. The focus of YP4WTT is to create an environment where young professionals can volunteer, network, socialize, host special events and work towards the common effort of supporting WTT and its many cultural, educational and community programs. YP4WTT joins WaterTower Theatre's other highly successful affinity groups, Women of WaterTower Theatre (WOW!) and The Corporate Council in ensuring the Company's short and long-term success.
Young Professionals for WaterTower Theatre is a dynamic new group of early to mid-career professionals who take an active role in enhancing Dallas' cultural scene while furthering their knowledge of, and involvement with, the performing arts and the theatre. The group is run by a Steering Committee of its membership led by Co-Chairs Katherine Christy and Sam Nicholson and including Nancy Casteel, Collin Duwe, Kelsey Leigh Ervi, Michelle Felix, Kyle Igneczi, Hunter Lewis, and Michael Scott McNay.
